If you like goats, goat cheese and Beaujolais wine, this is the tour for you! After we pick you up at your hotel, we start the day with a scenic drive through the vineyards, winding up at an organic goat farm in middle of the green Beaujolais forest.We’ll visit the farm, with an explanation of the goat milking and cheese making, and taste a selection of goats’ cheeses,matured in different ways.

Next, we get back in the van to drive deeper into the Beaujolais region until we arrive at a Beaujolais winery of ‘château’. Here you will enjoy a guided tour with explanation of the wine making (did you know if you press the red Beaujolais ‘Gamay’ grapes you get white juice and wine?) and lunch, of course accompanied with the estate’s wines.

After lunch, we take our time for a leisurely afternoon walk to stretch our legs at a panoramic viewpoint on top of Mont Brouilly, overlooking the patchwork of different grape fields. Here, you’ll learn more about UNESCO-classified Beaujolais geology. Finish by another insight into the world of winemaking and a wine tasting at a local family estate. End of the tour around 5 pm.
